Voters in Hackney will elect a new Mayor in the Hackney mayoral byelection on Thursday 9th November. Ahead of this on Thursday 2nd November from 6-7pm, we will be hosting a hustings for the mayoral candidates to answer questions on issues affecting motorcycle and scooter riders in Hackney, in conjunction with the National Motorcyclists Council.
Please join us from 6-7pm on Thursday 2nd November - click below to sign up to receive the Zoom link.
This is your chance to tell the candidates what you think of the proposed charges and ask them what they are going to do for riders. Please join us if you can to help show the strength of opposition to the charges!
Ahead of the hustings we've also written to all candidates asking them to sign our open letter against the charges, you can read it here.
So far four of the candidates standing to be the new Mayor of Hackney have signed the letter;
